Route II

Tripping

Day 82 now, this is the route I have done so far with some fine comments :

Belgium

Starting point, could not care less where to go.

France

Decisive point here,I met a trucker who told me I could come with him to England. I never thought this would be an option, and it kind of changed so many things for me.

ƪ(˘▽˘ƪ)

England

Busy highways, met one extreme friendly guy who gave so much, eating on restaurant, paying for a Hotel, ... Crazy.

Wales

Stayed for a couple of days in the Brecon Beacons in South Wales, beautiful.

Ireland

Ireland was just an amazing experience, I payed for the ferry to cross and never thought about doing a lot here until I saw the first coast line and the very friendly people. Very very nice time and when the sun shines and the sky clears open, it is one of the most beautiful places I have ever seen.

Northern-Ireland

Same here, meeting a lot of friendly people and beautiful places. An wonderful experience with religious people and priests. Made myself think about it more up to today.

Oh yea, don not go to Ireland or Scotland without proper rain clothes.

Scotland

Beautiful country, amazing. Just totally not prepared for such a heavy rainfall. Otherwise I would have stayed longer.
+ love love love.

England

On my way back to Europe mainland I thought about taking the ferry from Scotland or north England, but it was to expensive and so I hitched back to Dover, all the way in the South. Stopped 2 nights and stayed with locals, saw London for a bit.

The UK is a looong country, omg.

France

Kind of a hard time there, not really an idea where to go or what to do. Ended up in Paris first night, a pretty crazy night there.

Switzerland

Beautiful country with the Alps, stayed only for 1 night and decided to go to the Doctor in Belgium.

Luxembourg

Just hitchhiked trough.

Belgium

Aah Belgium, was kind of strange to go back but it was necessary. Stayed for a couple of days and then I could go again. Happy for that.

Germany

Hitching trough the night , direction Budapest.

Austria

Salzburg was nice, for the rest just hitchhiking trough it.

Hungary

Stayed here for a month, met a nice family and visited some people from a last trip.

Croatia

Amazing coastline.

Bosnia & Herzegovina

Beautiful country too, with a recent history of fighting. I liked Sarajevo. Different Culture and living way then the rest of Europe.

Serbia

That is where I am now, writing it from Belgrade. The Balkan countries are different, most people do not speak English, French nor German. Asking for couch surfing is like ... "What is he saying?! " And Surprise surprise, the climate is NOT a soft winter... Oops.
